Empowering women in the world
Women empowerment in the world cannot be treated as a uniform issue and treated with stereotyped measures. Things are different in different regions of the world and the needs are also different. We need to understand that women empowerment does not equate to a motorway where the administration of stereotypical fast-track programs will bring rapid change. Doing more in the current framework to empower some women or make informed choices in their lives is not really changing the situation on the ground. The underlying conditions affecting women in the form of prejudice and discrimination are present in the social fabric of the society and hence addressing the issue in a limited and stereotyped manner will not help in empowering women in the world. What we need today is a massive change in the structure of society, which is inherently biased towards women.
Empowering Women in the World: Waves of Change
It is time for the world to see women empowerment as a movement of change that draws strength from creating and creating new structures and systems that promote gender neutrality and gender equality in society. Time has really come when women empowerment in the world should be considered as more than simple activities like providing small scale project loans to women or small scale business activities to help women gain money and imagination support is included. This change in mindset is necessary because the bitter truth is that money cannot act like a magic wand and overnight erase the social norms, institutions and relationships that are part of our lives and which perpetuate widespread discrimination against women. are largely responsible for discrimination and prejudice. , Poverty reduction is not the beginning and end of women empowerment in the world. We have to accept that this is only a main goal. On the other hand, the real question is whether the empowerment of women in the world has been able to change the authoritarian structures behind social norms, institutions and relationships that openly perpetuate gender bias and inequality.

The developmental model of empowerment does not satisfactorily answer this question and therefore the developmental model should be considered as one of the tools of empowerment rather than the beginning and the end of empowerment. The time has come when the empowerment of women in the world should extend to the consciousness of women and awaken the power within every woman. The awakening of this power should act as a catalyst for creative and productive change in all areas of life, not just for making money or gaining limited power in the current partisan structure of society. Such an awakening of inner energy and consciousness for creative and productive action will give rise to real change agents. Through multiple avenues and diverse solutions, these change agents can bring about real change in society for the betterment of women and humanity as a whole. The process may seem slow in the beginning but will surely catch fire and its results will be visible in the long run.
We have to accept the present reality that women empowerment is still a far cry in the world. We need to take action locally as well as globally to bridge the gap between the world's vision of women empowerment and the current reality of gender inequality and inequality. This can only be achieved by increasing the participation of women at the local level, so that they have a greater role in decision-making institutions at the local level. This will lead to greater economic participation of women, increase in economic opportunities for women and socio-economic and political empowerment of women. A grassroots movement that taps into and grows in a local area will naturally act as a catalyst for better educational attainment, better health care and nutrition, and overall well-being of women in that area.

Empowering Women in the World: Focusing on the Grassroots but Thinking Globally
Women empowerment in the world should be considered as a continuous journey rather than a destination to be reached. To do this, we need to shed common burdens, assumptions and stereotypes that are currently adopted in the name of gender and development. It is important to ascertain whether the various programs implemented as part of women empowerment programs match the changes sought and measure the actual experiences of women on the ground. As I have already said it is time for real and genuine change and in this case challenging the existing institutional inequality of an established gender system is very important. This challenge should be constructive in the sense that it lays the groundwork for creating new structures based on gender equality. We must agree that women in different parts
